British Culture & Society Subject

British Culture & Society subject is one of the subject in English Literature major. And finally, i met this subject on the third semester. Just like the name of subject, what i learned in this subject is all about Britain.

We got book which has tittle "Britain Project". It is the print out of material that you can find in projectbritain.com. The Britain Project consist of many things that is related with Britain, such as food and drink, Calendar of events in Britain, Sports in Britain, etc.

Well the first thing that you should know about Britain is about the difference between UK, Britain, Great Britain and British Isles. Why does it so important? because for me , this is a new thing that i just found out in this subject. So maybe for you who take English literature can prepare first before meeting this subject.

Exactly i just want to share about the process of studying in this subject. Fyi, my campus is in Pamulang University (I just realized that i shouldn't tell you about it,because you will know about it in my homepage). My Bcs's lecturer is so discipline, she doesn't like students who come late at her class. The first day was so exciting, she wanted to know our personal so she asked my one by one about our job, age, status and many more (but she doesn't like being asked about age :D).

In the first day too, she gave us an assignment which is personal assignment. All of us have to prepare the material about Britain which is related with the book of Britain Project. And we have to explain about it one by one. Everyone got one subject, and I was got sport's subject. Because of my name is Nurul, so I got the last day to presentation my material.

Besides that assignment, We got another assignment. She asked me to make video which is related with Britain. Whatever is that, and we should show our self in that video talking about the Britain.

I chose "3 Interesting things about Britain" as the tittle of video. Well i will tell the detail about my video in the next post. heheh. Because I think I need to prepare the screenshot of my video.

Because of this is my first time writing in English, I'm sure there are so many mistakes I made :(
But I decide to start writing English in my blog is because I really need to know how far my ability in English, and I hope in the next day I will consistent writing English in my blog so someday when I look into my last post I will realized my mistake and can fix it.
